It felt like a lifetime ago since Jane was last in New Mexico. And maybe there was some nostalgia in where the island brought them to today. But, luckily for Jane, Tino didn't care about any of that and went with the most cliche specials of the day.

"Themed with the new locale," Jane replied with a quick grin. "Or just a beer maybe."

“Hmm. Well if Tino came up with the specials, I’ll have the beer,” Dean said with a grin. “Busy night?”

"Thankfully no," Jane replied, grabbing a glass to pour from the tap for him. "But there was a lot of moving stuff that I think had been put off for a while."

So many kegs. Just so many kegs.

“So that took you two seconds while you juggled them one handed?” Dean teased.

"Well, maybe," Jane said, preening maybe a little bit at it. "But now it's done, I have time to chat."

Dean smiled and for a second there he almost looked bashful. Nervous even. “That’s good! Because I’ve been meaning to chat with you about something. Nothing bad! Just something I… I’ve been meaning to say but haven’t had the courage to say it out loud.”

"Oh?" That was still something that made you pause!

"These last few months being on the island and being with you? I don't think I've ever had a happier time in my life," Dean said, looking at Jane sincerely.

He reached out for her hands, trying to bolster his confidence. In the past whenever he admitted this to someone or someone admitted to him it always backfired on him somehow.

"The truth is, Jane, I'm-"

He paused and took a deep breath.

Oh, Jane for sure inhaled deeply at that, eyes going wide. Because maybe this was still coming as a bit of a shock here.

Dean looked down and saw his clothes had fallen down and in his place he was covered in fur.

Well that's what he tried to say but it came out as some frustrated barks.

"...I should have expected that," Jane admitted with a sigh.

Dean let out a huff and laid his head down on the bar. He let out a long pitiful whine of frustration.
