Summer wasn't really sure when exactly this had happened, but, apparently, according to him, Tino had always been an aggressive Connect Four player, and he was leaning into it that evening hard by posting up a couple of the games and promising that, if anyone managed to beat him, they could have their drinks for free tonight.

She agreed to play one game with him, and she was pretty sure it was the most aggressive round of a game pretty much meant for children she had ever played without anything actually exploding. Tino did, in fact, win, and more easily than she would have liked to have admitted, and she might have gone for a rematch if he wasn't being so obnoxiously braggadocios about how swiftly and smartly he'd beaten her.

She almost warned him to chill, that it was just a game, but she could already tell that that could just end up in a lot of Connect Four boards being upended from the bar, and she did not want to deal with that.

"Inexplicably, campfires aren't great for riding in," Adrian said with a curl of his lips. "Wait...is a Roomba a vacuum cleaner?"

Sorry, Yelena. Because you'd just kind of described a vacuum cleaner.

"Or do you mean it actually scrubs the floor?" That was more intriguing, but Bran would throw a fit.

"Yes! Like a vacuum cleaner you don't have to push or move around," Yelena said with a firm nod. "It has little filament spinners that spin around and any dirt gets sucked in. Though some do scrub floors but I've never used one. You just set them up and then once a day or so they power up and move around your room like a pinball until it finished or gets stuck someplace."

"That would be a hell of a sight," Adrian said with a laugh. "Though it still wouldn't work. We make the things we use. Witchcraft."

"Yes, but somebody made a Roomba too. One is wood and the other is plastic," Yelena deadpanned. "So just dance around it naked and boom, flying Roomba."

Because that's how magic works.

"Ah, yes, plastic. Easily harvestable from the great plastic trees of the Blackwood, along with whatever electronic components needed to make it run," Adrian snarked right back at her.

Yelena let out a small, mischievous cackle. "Perfect. We are in alignment. When I get my next Roomba, I’ll let you work your magic on it so it can also dust my furniture."

"I'll give it my best dancing," Adrian said, chuckling along with her. "There will be 'widdershins' and 'skyclad' and all sorts of nonsense."

Yelena let out a snort of derision. “Those sound like the saddest and whitest of dance moves,” she snarked.
