Homecoming Carnival, The Park, Friday Daytime

Hopefully, no one had partied themselves out completely yesterday, because it was time for Homecoming! The park had been decorated... well, it had started to be decorated in a comfortable fall theme because something had to be done with all the extra pumpkins people had, but then the pillow fort showed up, and there was lofi music coming from somewhere and, well, it wasn't a bad vibe, so here we were.

Hot cocoa, comfort food, and all the discount pumpkin-flavored things that still looked fresh.

It was massive and came from nowhere, but don't look a gift pillow in the mouth!

(Please don't put any of the pillows in your mouths.)

Surely this wouldn't turn into any real competition!

Fun and therapeutic!

It's comfier than it looks!

Do you know how hard it is to find an image of a pillow fort that isn't made by AI? Disturbingly difficult.

This was not Kitty's first rodeo, and she was prepped with old clothes, probably throwing out some good-natured taunts at people as they passed by.

What, pie tossing was fun.

Anakin was here, up on his rickety plank as usual, fully prepared to cheat. As usual.

Was that a ball flying directly at the target with the Force before anyone even said hi? Yes. Yes it was.

Sneak attack!

"Hey!" Anakin yelled as his instincts screamed at the very last moment and he reached into the Force to fling the ball up into the air.

He checked in the Force to see what familiar presence was responsible. "JAINA!"

Rey, now with 100% less popcorn, mostly came to these things to people watch. She got hot cocoa and an Apple cider donut and found a seat where she could hang out for a while. There was always a decent-ish chance she'd see someone she knew.

Jaina popped out from around the other side of the booth, grinning. "You called?"

"You are my least favorite granddaughter," Anakin grumbled.

The Force was absolutely giving away how full of poodoo he was.
