Kitty decided to use that weird time during the holidays to do something productive, which meant putting up posters for the apparently-usual New Year's party. Who didn't like a chance to get dressed up cute, have themed drinks and catch up with people?

Lexi had also wanted to come along, and whenever Kitty hung one up Lexi would say "I want to do one," so Kitty had to hand over a poster for her daughter to hang them up at five-year-old height. So, enjoy that, everyone.
