With new enrollments being...well, not down, really, but nonexistent this semester, Summer was trying to think of something else she could use as a promotion for the store this first week.
No, not a sale on apple tree saplings, although that was apparently a thing today. That was all Apu, though, and Summer wanted to do something entirely unrelated to anything Apu was doing, as was par for the course and per usual.

Sure, it was much broader than a discount for all new students (and teachers), but, really, that wasn't necessarily a bad thing!
