Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey at least thought she was being calm and not annoying about the cold (she probably wasn't), but that was before she got to the warehouse and the power was out. Which meant the heat was out. She was definitely not calm and definitely not annoying now.

She was still bundled up, new pink hat and all, and camping out by the breaker to start working.

"Rey?" Anakin asked, calling out as he entered the warehouse. "...why is it like Hoth in here?"

"Because guess what," she called from a wall, super pleasantly.

"The hat works too well and you had to kill the power?" Anakin guessed.

[thatwaslucky]

"I am extremely grateful for this hat, but no."

It had ear flaps. It was pink. It was so helpful right now.

Anakin finally came into view. "So what happened?" he asked

[thatwaslucky]

"I'm not sure yet," she said. "I haven't been at this long. So far I've figured out that it's not the breaker."

"Did the woodchucks chew on something they shouldn't have?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"I don't think so. One was huddling by the lava earlier," she said.

[sith_happened]

"Poor guy," Anakin said sympathetically.

[thatwaslucky]

"I'll fix it and then he doesn't have to do that," she said, and then had a thought and pulled out her phone.

"Did you come up with an idea?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Hold on..." she said slowly as she looked up the website.

"They say there's an outage in our area and they are working to fix the problem. But I'm pretty sure 'our area' is just the warehouse."

"That seems strangely specific," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

She held out her phone for him to see, maybe in case he thought she was lying, or maybe because she needed a witness to this.

"Huh," Anakin said. "That's still strange."

[thatwaslucky]

"So I guess it's just going to be dark and cold."

Her favorite things!

Anakin wrinkled up his nose. "Does the phone say when it might be fixed? We can go get something to eat and warm up."

"'As soon as possible,' which is not a time." Ugh.

[sith_happened]

"We definitely need a coffee," Anakin decided.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey sighed, and warned, "I'm annoyed."

She'd get over it.

"Yes, because it's annoying," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"All right. Let's get coffee," Rey agreed.

[sith_happened]

"Should we bring something back for the woodchucks?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Do you think they can have hot chocolate?" she asked.

[sith_happened]

"I have no idea," Anakin said. "Maybe the coffee shop would know?"

Rey got her phone back out to google.

"It's toxic for woodchucks. Maybe a pastry."

[sith_happened]

"We definitely don't want to kill them," Anakin agreed.

[thatwaslucky]

"We'll being back a box of bear claws," she decided.

[sith_happened]

"Well, maybe we should check the bear claws first," Anakin said.

By eating a couple.

"We'll get them warmed up," she said, rubbing her gloved hands together. "Want to brave the cold?"

[sith_happened]

"It might be warmer out there than in here," Anakin said, taking a deep breath and opening the door again. "Nope," he added immediately.

"68 days until spring," Rey said, sighing and pulling her hat down further over her ears.

[sith_happened]

"I'm going to start counting down," Anakin admitted.
