While the weather continued to be not, it must be said, perhaps the most conducive to eating ice cream, a sweet treat was always welcome, in Lydia's opinion!

She did hope the other members of Supper Club had remembered to eat an actual meal first this week, although if they wanted to have ice cream for supper that was no skin off her nose. For her own part, she had discovered the tiny sample spoons shortly after her arrival and was now intent upon trying everything. For science, or something.

"I can recommend the raspberry," Lydia told him. "Or chocolate. Chocolate is always a good choice." Oooh, if she put the chocolate with the raspberry....

"I was thinking about chocolate," Flint said. "Which one is the raspberry? There are so many pink things."

"It's the very bright one," Lydia said, pointing it out. "That lighter one is strawberry, and that one is cotton candy. Huh. I didn't know you could make candy from cotton."

"I am not eating cotton," Flint said.

"Yes, I think that might be wise," Lydia agreed, although now she was curious about what cotton tasted like when made into candy. "And that one is...bubble gum?" She was at a complete loss.

"I'm not eating bubbles, either," Flint said.

"La, but bubbles can be such fun! Perhaps that one's fizzy, like those drinks. I'm going to try it," she decided.
