Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

There was a porg in the warehouse today. Which was fine, this place was halfway to a zoo by now anyway, except that it kept putting itself in the way as Rey was training so that she had to keep stopping so she wouldn't hurt it. She finally had to give a little Force suggestion to get it to back off... only for it to keep coming back.

So fine. If you needed Rey, she was here, along with a strong-willed porg.

"Rey?" Anakin called out, entering the warehouse.

The porg answered first with a loud trill.

"Hi," Rey sighed, from where she'd given up and was sitting on a crate, tossing it pieces of a croissant.

"New friend or did Ahsoka turn into a porg?"

[thatwaslucky]

"New obstacle," she corrected. "Why Ahsoka?"

[sith_happened]

"Well, a porg's from our galaxy, so I thought it wouldn't be a local kid, and Ahsoka was the first one I thought of."

"There would be worse things to turn into," she mused, and looked down at the porg. "You're not a student or anything, are you?"

The porg opened its mouth because there was no bread in there, and there should be bread.

She tossed it a piece.

"That doesn't answer the question, does it?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Not at all," she agreed. "He's been in my way all afternoon."

"Does he want to get skewered?" Anakin asked.

[thatwaslucky]

"They're not great at self-preservation," Rey said. "Probably another reason this isn't Ahsoka."

"That is a good point," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"How are you today?" she asked, tossing off one more little piece for the porg and warning, "That's it."

"Well, I haven't been followed around by a porg, so I feel like I'm missing out a bit," Anakin admitted.

"You can take him, I don't mind," she offered.

"I'm not sure I can bring home another pet," Anakin said. "Vladdie might get jealous."

"Vladdie's a vampire puppy, he has nothing to worry about," Rey pointed out.

"Maybe the porg has something to worry about," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"That might be true. Vladdie might fly better," she said.

"Vladdie has decades of practice," Anakin agreed.

Rey paused, and frowned at the porg. "I just realized I don't know a lot about porgs and whether they get decades or not."

[sith_happened]

"Me either," Anakin admitted. "Huh."

[thatwaslucky]

"I'm still learning a lot about the Galaxy," she said.

What was your excuse, Anakin?

He didn't care much about porgs?

"There's always much to learn."

"It's probably too much to ask to learn everything," she said. "Though everyone always seems to know more."

"Well, we all have different experience areas," Anakin said. "I know useless information about the Clone Wars."
