Remy had put out fliers. Had anyone seen them or read them or decided to check out his little training experiment, well. . . . That was up to them.

Either way, he was here, ready to let any non-Midnight residents in to join them, with a nice classic "sentinels attack New York City" program worked out with Midnight for the inaugural open training.

Oh, and he'd remembered to stick a sign on the doors -- both the front door of Midnight and on the all-purpose room itself -- too.

Jon was most definitely a writer and not a fighter. He had no idea how his "powers" could be used in a fight more than one-on-one. But if they could be, if he could learn, then maybe he could help people.

Jon might not look like much, but then, neither did at least half the mutants Remy knew back home. He at least looked like he'd lived through plenty, which qualified him in Remy's book.

"Hey, welcome," he greeted. "Good to see you, Jon."

Remy eyed the first aid kit. "You planning to give a demonstration, homme? Because Midnight, it's got safeties. You might insult it if you're not careful."

"My apologies, Midnight." Hannibal set a hand on the house for a moment. "No insult intended. I simply wasn't sure if those safeties included things such as people hitting each other. Or what its reaction speed might be. Midnight, you do use 'it' as a pronoun, yes?"

Since this was a training session, Yana would, actually, do some warm-up stretching before they got this party started. Because getting injured in a sim because she didn't properly prep would be dumb and stupid.

The lightsaber came out as soon as the robot did. Good lord, these things were almost as bad as the Iokath gods. They even sounded a bit like Tyth.
