The park- Friday afternoon

Jaina had had a rough couple weeks, so it was sort of a good thing, personally, for a bunch of godzillas to invade a place where she could take those frustrations out on them. Sorry, godzillas! You picked the wrong day to pick a fight!

There were a few in the park, so she was staying local to there, dealing with one in particular that seemed annoyed enough that she was fighting back to keep it up. She might be kind of humoring it at this point. It was like catharsis. There were plenty more if anyone else wanted to take a crack at it!

"Small island," Tony called back. "Also, best to get in before Cap shows up and steals the show."

Gambit let out a little scoff at that.

"Always showing folks up, that one," he said. Even as he flicked another volley of cards effortlessly at one of the godzillas that was rampaging towards them. "Not that the X-Men'd be much better in a fight like this."

These lizards were nothing compared to most of what tried to come after your average mutant.

"It feels like a fight on training wheels," Tony said, for sure jinxing them.

Gambit tsked, agreeing with Tony's narrative.

"Just wait, these dragons'll be breathing fire in a moment."

"That'd be fun!" Look, you were talking to someone who built a suit of armor. Of course he was into the knight and dragon scenario.

"'Least until we find out how fire-proof that tin can of yours is," Gambit said cheerfully.

"Did you think this wasn't already fire-proof?" Tony asked, cocking his head to the side.

"Dragon fire, mon ami." Gambit shrugged. "There's fire, and then there's fire."

"Oh, is that a challenge of my engineering skills?" Tony loved a challenge!

“Gambit? Challenge you?” Gambit blinked innocently, then grinned. “Sure, homme. Show off for the people!”

"I'll have to test it in Asgard once I'm done!"

Ohhh. Don't let Thor hear that. His Asgard was gone!
