The park- Friday afternoon

Jaina had had a rough couple weeks, so it was sort of a good thing, personally, for a bunch of godzillas to invade a place where she could take those frustrations out on them. Sorry, godzillas! You picked the wrong day to pick a fight!

There were a few in the park, so she was staying local to there, dealing with one in particular that seemed annoyed enough that she was fighting back to keep it up. She might be kind of humoring it at this point. It was like catharsis. There were plenty more if anyone else wanted to take a crack at it!

"I wonder if that's better or worse than working with Tino," Steve mused.

“Why not both?” Gambit shrugged. “You get rid of Tino, sure, but then you have to look out for a hoard of superpowered teenagers. It’s a wash maybe.”

The fact that Kitty had to deal with Gambit probably shifted the scales a little. At least until she fired him.
