Did Padme know that she needed to go to work at a bar? No. No, she did not. But she did need a drink as she figured out how best to address her current situation and that somehow ended up being said bar.

And then the bartender there had taken one look at her and her over the top outfit and disappeared for five minutes before returning in a matching outfit.

How long had Tino had that just waiting? Why had Tino had that waiting? These were questions to ponder and never learn the true answers to because, well, Tino.

Rory had turned into some sort of pants-obsessed teenager demanding to be taken to Greece and so Anakin was making a strategic retreat to the ba---"Sithspit."

He did, and he really should've thought of it after Rory this morning. He smiled at his new bartender, then noticed--"Why does Tino have a matching outfit?"

Creepy and weird, Tino. Creepy. And. Weird.

"He had it in back apparently?"

Tino? Unrepentant.

"There is so much wrong with you," Anakin told Tino. He shifted his attention to Padme. "I didn't know you could tend bar."

"I didn't either," she admitted. Because all she was doing at present was standing behind the bar and not doing any bartending. "But he said I was supposed to be here. Which... doesn't make sense."

"It's a very long story and not that important," Anakin decided. "If Tino can figure out how to make a drink, you can too." He pointed. "That's Tino."

Unless he was going full Handmaiden and going by Tiné.

"He's a bit... off, right?" Not just her. His keen Jedi skills sensed it too?

"Oh, yes," Anakin said. "He's very off."

Padme nodded, looking at Tino and his very elaborate costume. "Well. I guess it's better than being taken hostage or something."

The Clone Wars were just wild.

"If you had a credit for every time that happened, you could probably purchase this bar," Anakin agreed.

Padme shot him a look that implied he wasn't nearly as cute as he thought he was with that, but it turned into a smile regardless. "It's nice to have confirmation that's not the case here."

That smile would never not affect him, and he smiled back. "I can go out and see if I can find someone to try to kidnap you if it'll make you feel more at home," he teased.

"Please do not," Padme scolded. "I'm already turned around enough as it is here."

"I'm sorry," Anakin said. "It is very good to see you."

"Are you going to explain what's going on here or is it Jedi business," she teased gently.
