Yes, yes, all right, the coffee shop was not necessarily what one thought of when one thought of 'supper.' But they did serve food, and Lydia was committed to hitting all of the island's eateries, in the name of fairness, so here they were.

Look, if you were that worried about it you could order decaf.

It truly was. In fact, Lydia sort of gazed into the middle distance for a moment at the memory before mentally shaking herself and returning to the present.

"Oh, yes, dear Mr. Logan. I do hope he is doing well, wherever he ended up."

"Well," Lydia allowed, half-teasing, "We do still have Captain Flint."

On the one hand, he was less prone to shirtlessness of the buttered King's Hawaiian Rolls kind.

On the other hand, he didn't seem to have any association with a creature that was allegedly a dog.

Whether it was at all reasonable to expect Rey to potentially know the answer was anyone's guess.

If she had known him, that should be enough of a descriptor.

Harley tilted her head at her. "Are ya sure you don't mean --?" she started, only to shake her head. "Wait, no, angry's not really his thing, more brooding."

Not that either, but that was neither here nor there, and also something she was going to stop thinking about right now.

"Okay, so I don't know who that guy is," she concluded. "But he was shirtless?"

"Ooh, what's the occasion?" asked a woman who sometimes knew Supper Club was a thing, and sometimes didn't even know it was Thursday.

This was one of the latter.

But hey, Harley - there for a general little evening treat - seemed thrilled to have stumbled upon them, all the same!

The unsuitability of the venue for 'supper' might also have contributed to her confusion, to be fair. But some of those fancy drinks had as many calories as a meal.

"Well, they do sell food," Lydia allowed. "Perhaps not what most people would think of when they think of supper--" It was perhaps for the best that Mr. Scientia had not been joining them of late; he would not approve. "--but we can make do, can we not?"

"I didn't even realize this was a tavern," said Henry, who had never been here before to begin with, but had certainly obliviously walked past it a number of times.

"Oh, it sells your hot beverages," Henry realized. "But... why are we here for supper, then?"

"They do also sell food," Lydia explained, gesturing to the case. "Pastries and the like, mainly, but I didn't want to leave it out." Especially because it turned out Henry had never been here before! Trying the island's various eateries was, after all, the point of this exercise.
