Yeah, it, uh, got a lot more flexible in practice. Especially if you were Catholic. In a small town. In the 15th century.

"You don't want to say that to Father Godwin," Henry said, with a bit of a chuckle. "He'd give you a whole sermon about how he's just in the dirt with the rest of the peasants while the Church steals their coin, or something."
