The Fourth Sin - Saturday Night

Becky lounged behind the desk at the Sin, filing her nails and smoking a cigarette.

Occasionally, she would idly pick up her Zippo and flip it open and shut a few times, and smile as though remembering something.

[ooc: Everything with Miho, Becky and the body is NFB. However, Parker/Jarod and GOB are both okay.]

Jarod continued to look around the room. There were clean lines, but color, as well. The Centre hadn't been big on color. "It's so bright."

"That place was like a prison. Or a medical ward." She points to the bed. "Did you see that the sheets have road maps on them? I kind of liked that."

The walls are painted... except for the first one, which is *fuzzy*.

"I can have them re-paint it, if you hate it...."

She'd given him nature on his walls. He'd never feel closed in again. "It's...Parker, it's extraordinary."

"You like it?" She grinned. "I left the one blank, I thought it would be too much otherwise, but, here, watch this. //Excuse me, Miho.//" She turned off the lights.

"Look up."

On the ceiling were the constellations for the northern hemisphere.

"Thank you, Parker. There are no words for this." Overcome, he turned to Parker and hugged her tightly.

Parker stood there, frozen. Still grinning, but... meep!

Tentatively, she patted him on the back. Then rolled her eyes, and glared over his back.

And hugged him. Good thing no one is here to see this....

He released her. "Thank you. No one else would have thought of this."

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Parker straightened. "You're welcome. I had to make this place somewhere I could stand to visit, right?" She smirked, then checked her watch. "Oops. I should get going, I have to pose for Jake Gavin's art project."

[identity profile] jarodpretends.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Of course."

"You're posing? Clothed or unclothed?" Jarod smirked.

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Parker rolled her eyes and smirked back. "Clothed. With guns. And he mentioned leather." She blinked. "At least, he didn't say anything about nudity...."

[identity profile] jarodpretends.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Jarod grinned. "Will there be copies of these pictures available, or are you just going to put them on the internet?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Parker shoved his shoulder. "Shut up! It's art, art, art! At least, it better be. I'm going back to school, I have to pick up my guns." She looked around again, and grinned. "If the Centre goes broke, Ihave a second career lined up."

[identity profile] jarodpretends.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
"Art," he smirked. "Right. Have fun."

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
"Of course." She grinned and headed for the door. "I'll see you later, Jarod. Thanks for the chai."

[identity profile] jarodpretends.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Thanks for the home, Parker. You'll...ah, let me know how much I owe you?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-12-04 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
She rolled her eyes. "Yes, yes. Let me get the contractor bills from them, and I'll send them on to you. I swear, it wasn't too much." Really. Mostly.

And if Parker kept a bill to herself, well, an early Christmas present was a good thing.
