Caritas, OPEN (Monday Night)
After spending the day working on his present for Parker, Jarod was on a bit of a sugar buzz and had definitely caught the holiday spirit. He asked the band to play something "festive," which resulted in a version of "Silent Night" with a lot of guffawing from the band at the "virgin" lyrics.
He didn't see what was so funny. He had brought his gifts for Lorne and Parker with him. He was a little nervous about the gift for his employer, never having bought a present for a demon before. The gifts to Parker...well, he'd put his heart into them, so maybe that would count for something.

The Band
Re: The Band
was born in the wagon of a travellin’ show
My mama used to dance for the money they’d throw
Papa would do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of doctor good
Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We’d hear it from the people of the town
They’d call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
Picked up a boy just south of mobile
Gave him a ride, filled him with a hot meal
I was sixteen, he was twenty-one
Rode with us to memphis
And papa woulda shot him if he knew what he’d done
Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We’d hear it from the people of the town
They’d call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around
And lay their money down
I never had schoolin’ but he taught me well
With his smooth southern style
Three months later I’m a gal in trouble
And I haven’t seen him for a while, uh-huh
I haven’t seen him for a while, uh-huh
She was born in the wagon of a travellin’ show
Her mama had to dance for the money they’d throw
Grandpa’d do whatever he could
Preach a little gospel, sell a couple bottles of doctor good
Gypsies, tramps, and thieves
We’d hear it from the people of the town
They’d call us gypsys, tramps, and thieves
But every night all the men would come around

It has nothing to do with Xander's frogJeremiah was a bullfrog
Was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him a-drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine
Singin'...
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
If I were the king of the world
Tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the war
Make sweet love to you
Sing it now...
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
[electric piano]
You know I love the ladies
Love to have my fun
I'm a high life flyer and a rainbow rider
A straight shootin' son-of-a-gun
I said a straight shootin' son-of-a-gun
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls
Joy to the world
Joy to you and me
Joy to the world
All the boys and girls now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me

He pulled a wrapped package out from under the bar. It contained a mosaic of lilies in the field, waving gently in the wind under the hot summer sun. What made it a Jarod original was the medium--Pez and vanilla frosting.
Jarod also placed a smallwrapped jewelry box (http://www.abazias.com/database/NewJewelryInfo.asp?stock=63435) next to the larger package. He wondered if Parker would recognize the earrings. Sydney had really come through.

"Jerry! Give me so love and tenderness. Barring that? A sea breeze if you would good man! Oh and before I can forget..."
Lorne pulls out a a wrapped box (http://www.trivialpursuit.com/trivialpursuit/boardgames_pop_culture2.html) and a Musical CD (http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a244/oatmanspatient/LORNECD.jpg) Note: The tag clearly says "To: Jarod, Love, Lorne"
"Merry whatever-you-decide-to-celebrate, you handsome hunk of know-it-all-ness."

He thought about that. "Lorne? Do you celebrate a winter holiday?"
Re: The Bar
Lorne opens the envelope and is extremely happy. "Jerry not only did you give me the gift of music, but you also gave me an excuse to go to New York. That's like two fabulous gifts in one!"

"I wanted to thank you for your help the other week. It got me back to a good place, and I've been fine ever since!" Tick handed him the hat box. "Here's a gift that I hope is worthy of your snazziness."
