Weevil nodded at Piper. "Not just anyone. My ex. But, as I said, I'm over it. It was good seeing Lilly again."

Veronica does not feel a twinge of jealousy. "She kept an eye on Backup for us when we went to New York last weekend," Veronica said.

With a shrug, Veronica looked to Weevil. "Whenever Weevil doesn't mind us invading his place, I guess. And I still need to get my key back from Lilly."

"Yeah, you do," Weevil said to Veronica. Then he turned to Piper. "Sure. You and V can stop by anytime. Backup would like that."

She smiled at Weevil. "Well, it was good to meet you. I'm gonna head over to the lounge now."

Then she glanced at Veronica. "Can I talk to you about something later?"

"Is everything okay?" Veronica asked, immediately becoming concerned.

"Everything's fine. I just... there's something I need to discuss with you." Piper may have seemed a little bit nervous. "I'm heading over to the lounge."
