Empire Records and Bidet [2/5]
Nadia opened Empire Records and Bidet for the first time a little bit nervously. She'd never actually had a job before, and she was split between being excited and really really scared.
Fortunately, Lucas would be staying on hand today to help with any issues she might have.
The music mix today was all Argentine pop, all the time. A little techno-y for some tastes, but Nadia always felt it gave her good energy.
[ooc: come, play music, request buttons, harrass the new girl]

Re: Sales desk
Re: Sales desk
"I have your change from last night. Do you think you could leave the dishes in the third floor common room so I can return them to the restaurant?"
Re: Sales desk
She cut herself off before she could dig herself any deeper, and made a mental note to bang her head against the wall repeatedly when she got home. "Any purchases I can help you with?"
Re: Sales desk
"Just those CDs, thanks." Walter handed over what he hoped was enough cash and poked around in the button jar as an excuse to be looking anywhere but at Nadia.
Re: Sales desk
Unfortunately, the cash register didn't yell at her this time. Beating it into submission would have greatly helped her current level of stress.
"Right," she said, after she rang up the purchases and made the change. "There's your change, have a nice day, etc, etc, and" she took a deep breath. "Igiveyoufulllicencetokickmyassinself-defenseclubforhavingbeenacompleteperraeidiotasincelastnight."
She studied her nails and waited for him to either yell at her, or leave. Either way, really.
Re: Sales desk
Um...
Walter's lips didn't quite move as he repeated that back to himself at a slower speed.
"We're both going to blame whatever had us singing yesterday. I don't sing to people. You don't do it usually. That's all it was. Just some weird Fandom stuff." He looked at her, waiting for her to look up. "Right?"
Re: Sales desk
"Yeeeah. Sounds good." Nadia continues studying her nails. She really should get some polish or something. Or a file, shape them up a little. She's not a street kid any more. Time she stops looking like one.
Go away, Walter, go away, go away,
don'tgo away. . . .Re: Sales desk
He shouldn't. He really shouldn't, but she's a friend, right? "I'm working tonight, if you get a chance to bring those dishes by. You left without dessert last night."
Re: Sales desk
"Okay. I'll, um," She glances over at Victor, then back at her nails. Then she looks up at Walter again. "I'll think about it."
