Empire Records and Bidet [2/26]
Nadia opened the store, somewhat relieved to see that Lucas seemed to be sleeping in nice and late. The less contact she had with her boss, she figured, the better.
Especially since her "present to Veronica" that she'd had to ask for an advance for, was currently tethered by one leg to the "Parental advisory" section and shouting things like "Cursing is disrespectful!" and "Judge not lest ye be judged!" at the top of its speakers.
Every now and then, it managed to spit out a few bits of glitter, but it was obvious that the morality bot's main line of defense was running on empty.
Today's music mix: The Cure. I mean, come on. What else would it be?
[ooc: this is probably your last chance to interact with Moral, at least for awhile]

Belthazor!
Wait, hadn't Veronica said that there was someone in town who looked like the demon, but wasn't? Maybe this was that guy?
She'd probably find out when he tried to kill her. She shot a glance at Moral.
Who had just spotted the doctor as well and was jumping on one foot at the full length of its tether, crying "Boys don't cry!" happily.
Oh god, did she hope this was just the lookalike.

He gave the bot a strange look. What the hell...?

She took that as a good sign.
"Can I help you find something?"
"Drink your milk!" shouted Moral. "Just say no! Cheaters never prosper!"

"It's a morality bot," Nadia said, as though this was the most obvious, self-explanatory thing in the world. She still wasn't dead, and thus willing to bet this wasn't actually the demon Belthazor. "It's guarding the explicit music. It's out of glitter, though."
"Premarital sex is a sin!" cried the bot.

Nadia regretted slightly letting Moral hang out with Furrball all day yesterday.

"It, um, it seems to like you." Nadia winced. What were the chances that Belthazor's lookalike was also a killer? She didn't like to think about it.

Still clutching Christian's leg.
"It's done now," Nadia said mildly, though she was somewhat sad to see the bot fade out like that.
