Janet rolled her eyes. "I," she said. "Studied. All semester long. I'm not particularly worried, though if you have any embarrassing personal details on historical figures that you'd like to share, I'm all ears."

Methos crooked an eyebrow at her. "Those weren't the details I was thinking of." Trying to recall his manners, he asked, "You want something to drink?" He began to gesture with the orange juice carton he had just drunk out of, and then frowned at it. "Um, I have... water, I think."

"You're such a considerate host," said Janet, giggling. "Honestly, for something that's not my specialty, I'd like to think I'm a fairly decent student of history."
