Caritas - Saturday Evening [Open]

Weevil had returned to Fandom a few days ago. It's definitely good to be back after spending a week in Neptune. And he's glad to see the zombie band back as well. He notices Tino seemed to be missing, though. He just shakes his head in amusement.

Caritas is open.

Cally nodded. "Me too," Cally said. "But then, around here, it kinda seems like not having one makes you kinda special." Cally looked at Veronica for a moment, then narrowed her eyes. "Heeeeeey, wait a minute."

"What?"

"You so have a special ability, silly," Cally said. "You're, like, investigatory girl."

Veronica shrugged. "Anyone can do what I do if they train for it."

"I so couldn't do what you do," Cally said. "You know, like I totally couldn't do Archie."

Oh yes, the alcohol has definitely gotten to her.

That sound? Would be Veronica's jaw hitting the floor.

"Um... we haven't... um... we're just..."

"Oh," Cally said. "Cause I woulda figured Archie for the type of guy who tries to jump you. Given that he totally took advantage of me when I fell asleep in his room." Cally blinked. "Wait... I don't think that's right."

"Um, Archie's never been anything less than a perfect gentleman to me," Veronica said.

"You know, I think you're right," Cally said. "I'm just apparently a little dit brunk right now."

"Yeah, I think so," Veronica said, getting Weevil to bring Cally a glass of water.

"I am such a lightweight," Cally said. "Though hopefully this will have the same wacky consequences as it did before I got tied down." Cally blinked. "I mean, before I tied myself to Anders. Erm... Before I was committed to a mental hospital. I mean, relationship."

"And what would those wacky consequences be?" Veronica asked, clearly amused by drunk!Cally.

"Well, I used to wake up handcuffed to things," Cally said. "Like, Liz Weir's bed, or Anakin while shirtless."

"Anakin shirtless?" Veronica could appreciate that mental image. "Well, I don't own handcuffs, so that's pretty unlikely tonight."

"Actually, I was the one shirtless," Cally said. "Though Anakin... Oooooh." Cally got lost in that mental image for a second.

Veronica nodded. "Yeah."

She grinned. "If you want to wake up handcuffed to a hot, shirtless guy, you should call Jaye."

Cally blinked. "Jaye's a girl," she said.

"I know," Veronica laughed. "But she manages to get the hot guys shirtless all the time."

"Wow," Cally said. "You know, I have barely even thought about other guys for, like, months?" Cally chewed her lip for a second. "I mean, there was the thing with the whole Kara situation, but Kara's not a boy, so that doesn't count."

"I know what you mean," Veronica said. "When Logan and I broke up, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to be dating anyone for a long time."

"I'm gonna take my time," Cally said. "Don't wanna be, like, hooking up to fast. People'd call me stuff. And it'd hurt the boy."

Veronica nodded. "I get that. But don't be afraid either. I wasn't planning to date, but Marty convinced me I was being an idiot and I'm kind of glad now."

"Yeah, cause no matter how much I joke about him... Archie's kinda pretty," Cally laughed and grinned.

"Yeah," Veronica agreed. "And he's nice. Kind of restored my faith in the male population."

"Guess I'll have to find my own Archie," Cally said. "Not that I really lost my faith in anything, just... yeah."
