Caritas [Sunday Evening]

Greg opened up Caritas, mulling over the conversation from earlier in the day with his school-appointed and very grumpy little brother.

He whistled as he started to reassemble the band, and then took his place behind the bar and waving cheerfully to Jarod on the other side of the bar.

[Wait for OCD threads! Threads are up and Caritas is open.]

"You look like a very specific vampire. Angel," Parker said absently. "Oh, and don't whistle at me. I don't react well. That resemblance saved you from a slap for five minutes."

"And not my cute smile?"

Annoyed, Parker said, "Not even close." Her eyes narrowed. "You're not amusing me. Go away."

"But you haven't given me a chance to amuse you."

Parker gave him her best disbelieving glare. "Somehow, I don't think that's possible. You started out tacky, moved on to cheesy, and now you're sticking to annoying. I am *not* in the mood. Blow."

So Seely did.

He hoped it'd at least mess up her hair.

Parker's eyes got wide.

Then she threw her drink in his face, upward, hoping it went up his nose. "You really should know who you're pissing off," she hissed. "I'm Parker. And if we weren't in this bar? You'd be getting your ass kicked."

Seely wiped off his face and grinned. "Don't let that stop you, babe."

Parker grabbed him-- not hard, but enough to get a grip-- by the collar, and leaned in. "Outside. Right now. And you'll *wish* you were dead."

"Watch the suit!"

Wondering if maybe this joker wasn't at least related to Angel, Parker dragged him outside the doors of Caritas, then released him with a push. "Take off the jacket and get ready to hurt, or apologize. Your call."

"Just an excuse to get me naked," Seely sighed as he removed his jacket.

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Never in this life," Parker intoned. And before he had a chance to do anything else, she went for the hair, scrubbly scrubbly scrubbly, "Ha!"

"Hey!" Seely pouted and tried to fix his hair. "It's all sticky-uppy now."

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Parker smirked, mood restored. "Yes, much better. And--" she grabbed the jacket. "I can do worse!"

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
Seely glared at Parker. "Step away from the jacket."

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Parker gave him another glare, right back, and snapped out a pointy index finger in his direction. "Apologize for messing up *my* hair, the 'babe', and the whistle. Or it's *my* jacket now."

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Seely took a step towards Parker. "Leave the jacket alone," he growled.

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
Parker stood her ground---

Then put the jacket on, very quickly, pushing back the sleeves. "Come and get it, wiseguy."

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
"If you wanted me to undress you that bad, you just needed to ask."

Annnnd that was the capper right there.

Parker pulled back her fist and sent it flying toward his chest, right where it'd knock the most breath out of him.

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] socksofcool.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
And down Seely went.

"Feisty."

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Feisty is for chihuahuas." Parker put one spiked Dolce & Gabbana in the middle of his chest, then leaned down, glaring. "I'm just mean. Welcome to Fandom, Mr. Booth."

Seely just grinned and decided not to mention he could now see up her skirt.

Re: The Bar [08/27]

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-08-28 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Parker snarled at the grin, gave him a swift-but-not-too-harsh kick to the ribs, then straightened and stalked back into the bar. Still wearing his jacket.
