Jamie opens up Empire Records once again.
Yes, the country music is still playing.
Yes, he's still wearing the suit.
Shut up.

The fact that she knew Jamie would be working today?
Totally not even relevant. . . .
"Hey. How are you holding up?"

She tried not to really pay much attention to the man in the suit, but it was a little difficult. Especially when she looked long enough to realize who it was. "Jamie?" she asked, peering a little, head cocked slightly to the side.

It went a heck of a lot faster when you could divide up the labor.
"What can I do for you?"

She forgot that Jamie would be working at Empire. When she saw him behind the counter, she was tempted to turn around and walk back out.

"Um, thanks for the flowers." She was still hovering in the doorway, undecided as if she should stay or bolt.

"I'm glad you liked them. Did you do something with your hair?"

"Yeah, maybe. My roommate showed me his stereo, and I thought maybe I could find some music to listen to, but..." she waved her hand at the store. "There's so many."

"Jazz is popular at home, but the headmistress wouldn't let us listen to it. Seditious, or something. Oh, and I think there's a kind of music popular in, in the Americas called 'the Blues,' but we didn't get that much in Oxford." She shrugged.
"Any reccomendations?"
[ooc: sorry it took me this long; I'm back from class now, though.]
