Lyra looked up.. and then tried to hide the double-take she did at the guy's suit. She looked back down at the CDs.

"Yeah, maybe. My roommate showed me his stereo, and I thought maybe I could find some music to listen to, but..." she waved her hand at the store. "There's so many."

"Can you describe the kind of music you like? Maybe the artist involved?" Jamie asked. "If you're from a different reality sometimes various music types are the same."

"He called them 'Sugarplastic.' It was nice, I guess, but not what I'm used to." Her brow furrows, as she thinks out loud.

"Jazz is popular at home, but the headmistress wouldn't let us listen to it. Seditious, or something. Oh, and I think there's a kind of music popular in, in the Americas called 'the Blues,' but we didn't get that much in Oxford." She shrugged.

"Any reccomendations?"

"We certainly have a collection of both," Jamie said motioning her to follow him. "We also have some music called 'Rock and Roll' you might like."

"Ta very much." Lyra moved to follow him, only staring at his weird outfit when his back was turned.
