Caritas, Thursday, August 31st

Phoebe showed up early for her first night of work and greeted Tino warmly. He gave her a tour of the bar and the storage rooms were extra things were kept and then gave her a brief lesson on how to best reattach zombie parts for the band when they fell off.

After all of this, she wiped down the bar and then bounced around excitedly behind it as she waited for customers to arrive.

Maia came in and waved to Lana as she sat at the bar. "Hey Phoebe." She looked tired, "Can I have a vodka sour?" She said leaning against the bar as she spoke.

Phoebe nodded, mixing the drink and handing it to her friend. "Bad night, Maia?"

She looked more closely. "Are you okay? You don't look so hot."

Later in the evening, Bel showed up to watch over his girlfriend on her first night at work.

One moment, Phoebe might have looked away. Possibly to help another customer.

And the moment she looked back, Schrodinger was sitting there, a huge grin on his face.

They'd heard through the grapevine that Phoebe was tending bar at Caritas, and decided to head over and give their support to their 'sib'. And Aziraphale hadn't seen her in ages.

Settling in on a pair of stools, the two men leaned against the bar, and Aziraphale said, "Beg your pardon, my dear, but might we have two glasses of scotch, please?"

On Dr. Wilson's advice, Janice had decided to explore the town a bit. Finding a good bar was definitely a highlight of the evening. And no rationing, either, thank God.

She ordered a scotch on the rocks from Tino and looked around, wondering if she could get away with smoking a cigar in here.

When faced with the choice of hanging around the dorms, or exploring the town, Shawn knew which one he preferred. He needed to get out more anyway.

He found himself a comfortable seat and sat back to watch the zombie band. Maybe someone would even turn up to keep him company.

Totally read that first comment as "The zombies are *randy* for work with all pieces correctly attached" and thought to myself that if their 'randy' for work, it's a good thing the pieces are correctly attached.
