Becky was bored, so she took a seat at the bar.

And then she wasn't bored anymore.

"Who did that to you?"

"Zombie. They don't like when you try to staple signs to them," GOB said.

Becky looked over at the zombies. "I could go punch it for you."

GOB smiled. "No thanks. Jackass has a staple in him, that's enough for me," GOB said. Actually, he really wanted to see Becky punch the zombie, but he didn't want her to make it mad and attack.

Aww.

"Are you sure? I could go staple him a few more times," Becky said, looking somewhere between annoyed and worried.

Not that she'd ever admit to being worried.

"I'll just make sure Tino shorts him with brains next time he feeds them," GOB said, thinking the worry looked cute. Not that he'd ever admit that out of fear of being fed to the zombies.

"Won't that piss him off more, though?" Becky wondered.

Elliot looked happy as she ordered a celebratory frozen margarita.

"Cheers."

"You look happy," GOB noted as Tino brought over Elliot's drink.

"I had a conversation that I thought could go really, really badly, and ~~unless something weird happens when we pick up the SP~~ it went pretty well," Elliot said. "So I'm celebrating that."

She tilted her head, looking at him. "What's with your eye?"

"I got attacked earlier," GOB lied. "Fought off a couple jerks, got this as a prize."

Once again, a zombie hit him after he tried to staple a sign to it. All things considered, the zombie was being a very nice unholy creature and did not deserve being called a jerk.

"Poor you!," Elliot said sympathetically, oblivious to any zombie glares that might be coming her way. "I hope the other guys look worse."

"They do," GOB said. That was true. "So, I saw you did the three minute dates last week. How'd that work out for you? Does it make you more or less likely to come back here on future dates?"

"I guess more likely," Elliot said. "Hawkeye's a great guy. And I liked Josh, even though he wanted to yell at me for being an epublican-Ray."

Ahhh.

Cally grabbed an apple juice from Tino before heading into the lounge to wait for Mac. She'd dressed up, but not too much. The key here was low-key. No pressure. No expectations. No worries. No being super nervous.

That last one was the hardest.

Mac? Nervous, pfft. Okay, maybe just a little... or a lot. She does inner flailing quite well though. She managed to sort herself a drink from Tino before searching out Cally.

She smiled and made her way over to the lounge. "Hey, Cally."

"Hey, Mac," Cally said. She fiddled with her earlobe, already having trouble keeping hold of her nerves. "So, erm, been having a good past couple days?"

"Oh, you know, the usual." Mac said, taking a sip of her drink, then adding, "Did sumo wrestling in class. It was... interesting. You?"

"No wrestling," Cally said. "But I got to talk past lives and guilt in Religion class, with someone from, like, eight hundred years ago."

"Trust me, that's way better than wrestling." Mac informed her, huffing out a nervous laugh. "the suits smell funny. At least meeting people from eight hundred years ago is interesting, or should be anyway."
