Empire Records; Monday [ 10/02 ]

Chad was busy reorganizing the CDs back to their alphabetical order, trying to figure out exactly how they kept getting switched around. He didn't mind, though, humming along to the Zeppelin he was playing. He was in a good mood, and it gave him something to do that seemed somewhat productive.

He shook his head and turned his gaze outwards to all the CDs. He's trying to be reflective but he only says the obvious part of the thinking outloud. "There's a lot of music."

Somehow, Chad isn't quite convinced that Ranma was thinking that, but he certainly can't argue with the statement. "Yes. Yes, there is."

"More than I thought. There's a lot of books too. And I don't know anything about either. The only book I ever read was my laptop's instruction book."

"Hey," Chad said, with the suggestion that he shouldn't turn his nose down at that. "Most people can't get through those things."

He really wants to say something nice back but he can't bring himself to. "Thanks..." He smiles at Chad, hopeing it maight say a compliement in his stead.
