Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

After speaking to Becky last night on the phone, GOB needed to name a drink after her. Flipping through the bartending book he kept behind the bar, he figured out the perfect drink. Aggravation with some pasion fruit in it. It worked on several levels.

While GOB was mixing trial drinks, Tino put up a sign.

We've met your kids.
We understand why you need a drink.
The first one's on us.

Kira got on stage with her guitar, and eyed the zombie band. She motioned for them to take five, and hoped that would work.

"Hey, I know this isn't usual for a karaoke bar, but I'd like to perform some of my original work. My name is Kira Ford, and this first song is called 'Just Words'."

She then played (http://www.sendspace.com/file/kc7xek).

And then followed that up with another song (http://www.sendspace.com/file/uduggi).

"And that was called 'Patiently'," she said. "Thank you." She waited for any applause to die down, and got off the stage.

Conner was the one in the audience whistling the loudest, probably. If anybody tried to outcheer him? He'd keep upping the volume.

Lex listened with a small smile on his face, tapping his lower lip thoughtfully. When she had finished, he clapped with the rest of the audience, with that calculating little smile still in place.

Narcissa sat down at the bar and told the bartender to get her something alcoholic. Tino produced a Cosmopolitan. She sipped at the drink and looked at everyone in the bar warily.

After meeting what he sincerely hoped were a handful of the more unusual of his students' parental-guardian types, Aziraphale really wanted a drink. And since Wilson was still up at the school, he decided to duck in to Caritas for a few minutes.

Stepping up to the bar next to a nice seeming blond lady, he ordered a glass of scotch from Tino and then smiled at her.

"Good day, my dear," he said pleasantly.

Clark oh so needed a drink. Possibly something even stronger than a wine cooler or a mudslide. He might even, *gasp* order a beer.

Kira got to the bar and got a glass of water from Tino. She had her guitar with her, and was anxiously awaiting Lex and Conner's arrivals.

"Hey, I see you beat me here," Conner said as he strolled in, hands in his jacket pockets. Noticing the guitar, he brightened significantly. "Sweet! You're gonna play!"

With a *crack* and a puff of displaced air, two teenagers, a boy and a girl, appeared in the bar.

"I don't see her here, either," Kit says, looking around with a frown.

Sir Myles was quite pleased with himself for finding the local tavern, though it was certainly like no tavern he'd ever seen before.

"A large tankard of the strongest ale you have, please," he announced as he dropped heavily onto a stool. Going all day without drink was hard work.

Jim stepped up to the bar and ordered a girly alcoholic drink for Lana and something a good deal less of both for himself.

With the girls off somewhere catching up, Eishun didn't have much to do but explore the little town. He wandered into the bar, saw the sign and grinned. Highly amused and unable to refuse a free first drink, he ordered a scotch on the rocks, lit up a cigarette, and took an idle glance around.

Door looks about the bar curiously as she pushes the door open and holds it for Carmela because she's nice like that and also hey exposition yay!. "This is a bit more crowded than it looked when we passed it on the way to shop for dresses."

As a general rule, Naomi was not much of a drinker but in the wake of a rather distressing day over all, she decided a small sherry before heading up to the hotel might make it easier to sleep.

Setting her carpet bag down on the stool beside her, she huffed her bangs out of her face and when Tino came over, asked for a single finger of sherry...on second thought, this place looked as strangely outfitted as the rest of the island.

Very well, make it two fingers worth of sherry.

Jim headed into Caritas with a modded with permission Lana. He still hadn't gotten to meet this Lex character, but Lana had said that he would be here so here they were.

"I'll grab us some drinks," he told her, kissing her quickly before heading into the bar.
