Alfred had tracked down all the chefs and forced them to come to work today.

You'd think an elderly British butler couldn't be scary. Normally, you'd be right. But when said elderly British butler is ex-British Intelligence, the equation changes slightly.

Okay, the equation changes a lot.

Regardless, Alfred was supervising Wadsworth putting up a big banner welcoming all the Parents and proclaiming a discount for all parents with their family. Or psuedo family, as the case may be.

He was quite looking forward to meeting Arthur Hellsing.

Sparky Repairs, Friday

John decided that, if he was spending more time at Sparky's in the back room snogging a nun that he'd better fix the TV reception problem. So, armed with a very pokey TV antenna and a drill, John's on the roof attaching big pieces of metal in the hopes of picking up mainland TV signals.

Ah, crap. Big metal thing on a roof? He'd better put a lightning rod on it, too, else Agatha'd be pissed. Whether she'd be more mad about lightning striking the TV antenna and destroying it or more mad about missing an opportunity for playing Mad Scientist Doctor, he wasn't sure.

Perk - Friday afternoon

John stopped at the Perk for a cup of coffee and to delay heading up to the school. It wasn't that he didn't think the visiting parents should be able to talk to him about their children's progress, it's just that it wasn't exactly his idea of a fun way to spend an afternoon. Frankly he'd much rather be hunting down another ratwoman or two.

So... procrastination in the form of caffiene.

Maureen opened the store since Kaylee had requested the day off, telling her it was Parents Weekend and she had a visitor coming to the island.

The fact that there might be some new, good-looking adults around for the weekend had Maureen in a very good mood. She hoped some of them would stop by the store.

Having successfully escaped Ron once the mun gets around to playing with herself, Jude hurried down to Luke's, shaking his head at the sudden disturbance in the balance of Fandom. Waaaay too many adults around now.

On went the apron, up went the specials (most of them on sticks), and Jude settled back to help make some good impressions.

Caritas - Friday evening [Open]

After speaking to Becky last night on the phone, GOB needed to name a drink after her. Flipping through the bartending book he kept behind the bar, he figured out the perfect drink. Aggravation with some pasion fruit in it. It worked on several levels.

While GOB was mixing trial drinks, Tino put up a sign.

Arms Hotel, Saturday, Late morning

Having heard Angela and Marty weren't exactly sure how many people they had invited to brunch, Graham grumbled a little and set to doing what he did best: making enough food to feed a small army. There were southwestern-style hash browns, poached eggs, pounds of bacon and sausages, many kinds of bread products (storebought -- Graham's a chef, not that much of a masochist), fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juices, and he's now doing something with pastry, walnuts and sliced apples that looks like it will taste good enough to make you weep. Angela's standing at the stove, flipping pancakes with a look of great concentration.

The door is propped slightly open for anyone who might stop by.

[OOC: This is going up early for SP and wacky weekend schedules. It's open to anyone Angela and Marty might have plausibly mentioned it to and their parents or guests.]

Flyers Posted Around Town

At some point on Friday, flyers appeared around town. Eventually they'd make their way up to the school, but for now they were plainly visible for anyone who happened to be wandering about in the town itself.
