Caritas, Wednesday Evening

Jarod opened the bar, trying to ignore the feeling of impending doom as he prepared the garnishes. The oranges looked very innocent, as did the limes. The cherries, however, were obviously plotting something.

"Hey, Pippi. You ready for tonight?" Parker pushed her hair back in between hooking stuff up. "And how's Walter doing? Is Nadia going to be okay for tonight?"

"Walter's getting better, Nadia said she was going to take him out in a wheel chair trick-or-treating, which I heard she did. So I think she'll be here."

Parker was there, checking the sound set-up and resolutely not looking at the bar. Much. For a certain value of 'much'.

Chad wasn't exactly early, but he had plenty enough time to make sure his bass was in tune and all the strings tightened.

Ranma is in the back as usual, but today he has two tag-alongs who are not usually there. The twins were with him.

The twins rocked on their feet and looked around. They hadn't been in Caritas since that night awhile ago..and certainly not to see a band. They'd seen posters up, but never gotten around to coming. //So, how many times have you seen them?// Hikaru leaned over to Ranma and asked.

Billy, orange juice in hand, got ready to cheer and clap, and, whatever it was one did at a concert. He'd been sent to this crazy school to have some semblance of a normal life. He might as well do his best to enjoy it.

Setsuna stayed by the door when she entered the bar, a little late into the performance, leaning against the wall. It didn't matter to her that she may have missed most of it. She wasn't here for the music.

This was, needless to say, a little awkward for her, but, after all she'd been hearing about Chad and Ranma on the radio (why hadn't he told her things had gotten so serious? or was it just the radio altering things to sound one way when it really wasn't that way at all, as it was known to do?), she knew she had to come and check things....check Chad out. She had to make sure her best friend wasn't dating a total creep. With her sharp eyes, it wasn't difficult to watch from so far back. Plus, Chad was not hard to pick out...at all.

No point putting it off any longer, right? Parker had worn her best Versace even though it felt like she was trying too hard, and made damn sure there was nothing wrong with her hair or make-up. So. Time to bite the bullet.

"Diet Coke, please." A deep breath. "Long time no see."
