Alamo Day!
True, it wasn't a religious holiday. But it was a great excuse to ressurrect the cowboy costume from Halloween and run around with Chrono in an epic Nerf gun battle around the church. And that's what really mattered, after all.

There was a thoughtful pause. "Still had to do a lot of cleaning, though. That hasn't changed."

"Cleaning. We did cleaning today in Home Ec." It was a matter of definition of course. Dawn and River had been more into the artistic expression used in spreading dust on the floor.

She tilted her head back toward River. "What's it like going to a regular school? I was taught at the convent, and the orphanage before that, so I've always wondered what it's like."
