Mauvaise Chance Office/Lobby, Thursday all day [3/8]
Anyone entering the building would find a tall...generously-proportioned... young woman in an eyepatch behind the counter, looking perplexed but not necessarily unhappy.
They'd also see that the Guy With Tools signs were up on the outside doors (scotchgarded with cling-wrap) and in the lobby, as usual, but someone had stuck a yellow Post-It note on each, in a strategic location, that said Chick in black Sharpie.

"Uh." He stares for a second longer, then shakes his head like he's shaking water out of his own hair. "Yeah. Lemme get you a towel."

She saw the girl at the desk, as well as the eyepatch, and made a guess. "Xander?"

And then she saw the woman with the eyepatch.
"Okay. So I'm not the only one having a weird week."
