Phoebe was cheerful when she showed up to open the club after the mentor/mentoree pizza party.

She talked to the zombies -- and retrieved the drummer's leg from where it was tangled in the stage curtains' hanger -- and then she glanced around.

Water was seeping into the club so she did what she could to keep it a little cleaner.

Trying to make it festive, she put up a sign.

Caritas has gone tropical!
Half-priced Mai Tais, Pina Coladas, and Sex On The Beach!
Tonight Only!

Hey, she figured if it brought in happy customers it was a good plan.

The zombie band will play anything you like -- and tonight are partial to beach songs. Please don't argue with them. You really don't want to see them in speedos.

Phoebe is here mixing drinks and floating on air -- not always literally.

Tino is also here and not happy about the water.

If you tip well, he'll be more chipper.

Bel's back in his usual Thursday night place at the bar, there to keep Phoebe company. And make sure nobody got out of line with her.

Lucifer took a seat at the bar, looking around for GOB. She was curious to see what kind of woman that awful man would make.

"Vodka martini, dirty," She replied, smiling politely. "If you please."

Phoebe conversed with Tino and soon had learned how to make a dirty martini. She handed it to the woman. "Here you go, ma'am."

GOB took his drink and caught sight of the hot chick at the bar. "Hello," he said, moving over by her. "I haven't seen you around before."

Aiden has learned to make the most of the half-price gimmicks this place seems to host on a fairly regular basis. She figured after an afternoon of dragging books around, she deserved a little umbrella accompanied outing.

She slipped onto a barstool, and surveyed the club. It wasn't as waterlogged as Yomiko's basement yet, but it was definitely well on the way.

GOB had no clue that the female population had increased overnight. He just wanted a drink away from his boat which seemed a bit higher than usual.

Anyway, he was here now. "I'll have a scotch."

Rose saw Orpheus and waved at him, er, her. "Hey, see you made it!"

"Rabid pit demons could not keep me from a nice spritzer when the mood strikes me." Byron said smiling and brushing some water off her windbreaker.

After finishing all the backlog reports Rose decided to head for Caritas, her umbrella was battered and her jacket did nothing to protect her from the rain when she entered she was positively soggy. Being a Londoner you'd think she'd be use to this.

The Lounge - 3/8

In addition to the usual booths and tables, there are now inflatable rafts and floating pool chairs. There are little floating tables, too.

I will be slow to answer pings as I had to take seizure meds and they make me groggy and dopey.
