Caritas, Monday Evening [OPEN]
Jarod had spent most of Sunday asleep or groaning under the weight of his very first hangover--which he decided was something he could have done without ever experiencing, honestly.
Today, he was hoping that the band played something quiet. He also opened the doors so that Caritas could continue airing out--he couldn't figure out why the place smelled like a campfire.
[ooc: It was always in the right comm. *facepalm*]

The Band
Re: The Band
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"
I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Millie thought for a moment, then smiled. "Perhaps... do you have some sort of a beer?"

And was taking sips of rum from a bottle.
What? Shrubs totally drink rum.
Its notes read: Rory 'n Aeryn be gettin' drunk. Mayhaps they'll do that cherry stem trick! Rory be tellin' Jarod 'bout gettin' into Yale. Pretentious Pilgrim school, methinks. Millie be makin' new friends 'n gettin' Jarod's opinion on new names fer Totally Unpronouncible Book Store. Leo be seemin' less high tonight!
