Town [Later That Night]

After spreading much early holiday cheer in the dorms, Mr and Mrs Claus have waddled their way into town.

"Oh dearest, dearie dear," John said, still in high pitched voice mode, "do you think the townspeople could use some holiday cheer? I think they could."

[Second verse, same as the first. Gotta a townie that wants a song? Ping in and they'll get one!]

Years living in Sunnydale had taught Giles to look through the door's peephole before opening. What he saw, made him blink in surprise, but it didn't look particularly dangerous.

Still, Giles only opened the door a little way until he knew for sure. "Yes?"

"Seasons greetings and warmest salutations," Mrs Claus said. "Would you like a Christmas song? To brighten up this dark night?"

Giles looked out into the well-lit hallway. "Starting the season rather early aren't you?"

'Efficient' wasn't the word Giles was thinking. 'Mentally disturbed' may have been closer to the mark.

Still he couldn't help but be curious if they would actually sing a Christmas Carol. "Very well then," he said. "How about Adeste Fidelis?"

Mrs Claus thought she knew what that song was. If not, this was the closest she could think of.

"Latin, dearest," Mrs Claus said.

"Adeste fido!
Lately with my latte!"

John really sucked at Latin.
