Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

GOB was in a state of reflection tonight. No, he wasn't covered in extra shiny glitter. He had been thinking. A lot. It kind of hurt his brain.

He had been in a brief relationship with a zombie chick and was dumped. He had been getting completely plastered and that resulted in something that he swore he didn't remember in case anyone brought it up. And yesterday he was tasered by a trash can.

Something had to change. GOB had to change.

So tonight, he decided to be more positive to everyone who came by. He had never hated himself more.

[OOC: GOB will be positive towards everyone if it kills him. I do not have admin approval to kill him, though, so he will merely be miserable.

ETA: *looks at number of people in here* Don't mind me if I'm a little slow.]

The band is playing nothing but cheerful music tonight to help GOB out.

GOB hated them for it.

Tino was whistling jauntily to help GOB out.

GOB hated him for it.

Nobody should be able to bother GOB from here.

GOB liked them for that.

A NEW AGE BEGINS FOR GOB.

I HAVE TO SEND TWO GIRLS. I HAVE TO. I KIND OF HATE YOU FOR THAT.

NOT UNLIKE GOB.

It's not her regular night to show up at Caritas, but it's still a bar, so Jaye's still there. "You again?" she greets GOB.

Oh look, there was Buster. He sat down at the bar and looked at GOB cheerfully.

"Heeeeey brother."

Anakin was making an effort to be social.

Okay, no, Anakin needed to hear more about his son making an idiot of himself.

He sat down at the bar. "Could I have a whiskey, please?"

Dammit. "Good evening," GOB said, hating Jaye more with every syllable. "What can I get you?"

Aeryn set a wedding date, more or less. This may be why she's at the bar. "Rummincoke," she says.

Who needs please? Or hello?

Anakin gave Jaye a smile. "Hi!"

"...Good even- Whatever. Beer. Make it snappy," she says.

Fraser came in and took a seat, glaring a bit at GOB. "Feeling better?"

Oh god. "Hi, Buster," GOB said. "How are you tonight?"

"We end up at bars together a lot, have you noticed that?" Jaye greets him, smiling.

Anakin smiled at her. "Long day?"

"Sure thing," GOB said. "Tino! Get this guy a drink!"

Tino did nothing. "COME ON!" GOB whined.

"Please?" GOB sighed. Tino brought the drink over and passed it to Anakin.

"That probably says something bad about our characters," Anakin said, "but I don't really care that much. Did you hear about my son?" He snickered. "He met his first gremlin."

"Of course," GOB said, near tears. "Tino, what she said. Please."

Tino brought Aeryn's drink over and passed it to her.

Strange how a certain redhead appeared as though she'd been summoned.

"Hi Mr. GOB!"

"Not long, really," she says. "Keep November open."

Pam had a reason to be here, for once. Sure, she could have worked on it in class, but she had the feeling that John would appreciate her going above and beyond, and visiting GOB at work.

"Coke, please?" she requested.

"Thank you, Tino," Anakin said, nodding. He took a sip. "I heard on the radio that you met my son yesterday."

Aeryn frowns, looking between GOB and Tino. "You didn't tell him to charge me full price," she says.

"I'm feeling great," GOB said. "How about you? Buddy?"
