Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

GOB walked into Caritas and saw something strange. Tino was smiling. Smiling at him. At GOB.

GOB couldn't comprehend this. He checked his reflection in a spoon. He didn't look weird or anything. He checked his clothes. There wasn't anything funny on them, no stains or anything. He looked to the zombies. None of them looked to be plotting GOB's doom. GOB glared. "What's with you?" he asked. Tino shrugged. "Is this revenge for me being friendly last week?" Tino shrugged. GOB looked around and deciding it was safe to say it, he leaned in and whispered, "Kiss the Mountie. It'll shock you back to normal."

Tino nodded, still smiling. "That's just creepy," GOB noted.

[OOC: I am around. Tino is smiling. Huzzah.]

Come look at Tino smile. Isn't it creepy? GOB thinks so!

Fraser came up to the bar and, seeing Tino smiling, smiled back. He smiled widely at GOB.

"You look well."

"Stop smiling. Everyone stop smiling!" GOB demanded.

"Why?" Fraser asked. "There's no reason to not smile."

"Sure there is. It's creepy," GOB pointed out.

"It isn't," Fraser argued. "It's a common expression of being happy or content."

"Like I said, creepy," GOB noted.

"Did your mother drop you on your head when you were a child?"

"Not that I remember," GOB said. "She drank a lot while she was pregnant with all of us, though."

"Huh." He wasn't going to saw that explained it but, well... "Why is your bartender smiling anyway?"

"I think he's gone completely insane," GOB said. "Or it's revenge for last week. Or he got lucky. I don't know."

"And you can't be the least bit happy for him?"

Cooper walked into the bar. "Excuse me? I'm looking for a GOB Bluth."

"Who wants to know?" GOB asked.

He had pissed off enough people in the past that he knew to answer like that.

"Special Agent Dale Cooper," he replied flashing his badge. "Fandom Police Department."

"This is GOB Bluth," GOB said, pointing to Tino.

Tino shook his head, still smiling, and pointed back to GOB.

"Can I see your identification please?"

"Why?" GOB asked, using his experience with slight-of-hand to slip his wallet out of his pocket and hide it in his sleeve.

Except that he actually dropped it on the floor, so he stepped on the wallet, thus hiding it.

"Mr. Bluth, based on the reports I've been hearing, this establishment serves minors, promotes the use of alcohol in order to promote promiscuity and possibly the abuse of reptiles and amphibians," Dale said seriously. "Now please take your foot off your wallet and show me your id."

"I have no clue what you're talking about," GOB said, kicking the wallet under the bar SUPER STEALTHILY. "Wait, what about reptiles and amphibians? Are you talking about that furry kid in the costume in my... his class? My name's Tino."

Tino shook his head.

"I believe there was talk of promiscuity amoung turtles and frogs last week, Mr. Bluth," Dale said motioning for Tino to show him his ID.

Tino pulled out his own ID and showed it to Dale. GOB glared at him. Tino smiled in return.

"Turtles and frogs?" GOB had absolutely no clue what this guy was talking about. "Are you drunk?"

Given enough time, Tino may even hug GOB. And GOB's head would explode.
