The Great Fandom Water Fight, The Park, Starting Friday afternoon

The water guns were loaded, the water balloons were filled, and there was more than enough for everyone. Drax had two water guns. He was using his privilege as Dean of Students to use two but nobody else would be allowed to (unless they snuck one from their room, or disarmed someone and took their gun or something). Them's the breaks. The fact that he was sniping some people while they were arming themselves were also the breaks.

The Great Fandom Water Fight had begun.

[OOC: Standard combat rules apply. Please don't mod anyone getting hit. That said, it's just water. Let it hit you! You're free to go through the park and into stores that indicate that you can fight in there.

Business people, if you'd like to be part of the battleground, just drop an OOC note in your post.

This event should be pretty self-explanatory, I think.]

Ronan was ready by the pond, water gun in hand and bag full of balloons. Also, in the back of his head, he had a few spells ready. He wouldn't use the unless he saw anyone else using powers, though.

Adam snickered as he tossed a water balloon at Ronan's back.

As the balloon burst against him, Ronan laughed. "Oh, now it's on!" he called as he spun around, lobbing a water balloon with one hand as he fired his water gun with the other.

Adam laughed as the balloon hit him in the chest. He really should've looked for cover. He managed to avoid the stream of water, firing back at Ronan.

He also lobbed another water balloon at his friend. "Double team!"

Ronan dodged the new water balloon, ducking under it -- and then started running towards Adam, the stream from Adam's water gun hitting him square in the chest. "Take this!" he cried, firing the water gun at Adam, his voice filled with laughter.

Adam hadn't expected the charge and that threw him off.

"Gah!" He got hit with the water and attempted to block it with one hand, while firing back at Ronan. Adam laughed and backed away, in the process.

Ronan dropped his water gun into his bag and pulled out two balloons. "Hah!" He lobbed them directly at Adam, one high and one lower.

Crap.

Adam did the only thing he could. He dove to the side, launching a couple water balloons at Ronan. The water balloons that had been thrown at him landed on his legs.

When the new balloons impacted, Ronan decided that it was unconventional weapon time! He pulled off his sopping wet shirt, and flung it towards Adam while holding on to one of the sleeves. As he'd hoped, a spray of water flew from the shirt towards Adam.

Well, that wasn't something Adam had seen coming.

Nope. Which was why he was hit in the face with the spray of water. Laughing, Adam shot back with his water gun and attempted to take cover.

Ronan laughed as he shoved the wet shirt into his bag and pulled out his gun and another balloon. He started shooting at Adam again. "Y'know, it's really a lot more fun if you lose your shirt. Much easier to move around."

"Is it now?" Adam grinned, looking down at his shirt. Hey, it was thoroughly soaked and it was weighing him down a bit. Oh, what the hell.

And, the shirt came off. And another water balloon was sent in Ronan's direction.

Ronan tried something new -- grabbing the water balloon that was thrown at him.

As he should have expected, it broke, splattering all over him. "Darn," he said, "I'd hoped that would work."

He totally wasn't checking out Adam. Of course not.

John laughed as he ran in Ronan's direction spraying him with the water gun. "Hey, roomie! Need a shower?"

"Already got one, thanks!" Ronan replied, dodging out of the way of John's spray. "You look like you could use a bath, though!" And he lobbed a water balloon at John.

The balloon burst against John's side. "I appreciate that," he called. "I had a little itch there." He kept spraying at Ronan. He had pretty good aim what with the firearms class and all.

And, yeah, now Ronan couldn't dodge that, but he didn't really mind all that much. "Hey, thanks, I was feeling a little warm." He shot at John, and then lobbed a water balloon in the direction he hoped John would dodge.

John was enjoying the water fight, and wasn't dodging all that much since the point was to get wet and to get others wet. By now, John was completely soaked but smiling.

"I think this is my favorite event," he remarked.

"Yeah, it's awesome," Ronan said, grinning. He totally wasn't checking out how John's wet clothes clung to his body. Why would you think such a thing?

John was looking rather hot with soaked t-shirt and shorts. His hair was all wet and messy too, he kept running his hand through it to make sure there weren't any balloon bits stuck there.

Not that Ronan was looking any less hot. He grinned. "Oh, by the way." He pointed vaguely at John's hair. "You have a little something there."

John frowned and rubbed his hand through his hair again. "Did I get it?" he asked.

Ronan shook his head. "No, here, let me." And he leaned forward with one hand as he palmed another balloon with his other hand; if this worked out and John didn't notice...

And he tried to bring the balloon down on John's head.

John gasped as the balloon crashed onto his head. "You mean now I have balloon in my hair!" he exclaimed, and began shooting mercilessly at Ronan with his water gun.

Ronan laughed. "If it's any consolation, I'll help you get it out later. But the look on your face!" And he dissolved into giggles.
