The Monster Mash and various other movie horror-flick music is playing today, including the soundtrack, bad as it is, to Zombie Queen of Seattle. And yes, the kitties have catnip. Meanwhile, Charlie's working on the novel again, inspired by A.J.'s interest.

Fiona's chute wouldn't open. Oh, god, they'd jumped off the carrier, and her chute wouldn't open. She was gonna die, Elizabeth was never going to know about their parents, and she'd never find out what the Eye of Zantar was--

And just as she was ready to close her eyes and pray, someone grabbed her arm, yanking her upward, slowing her fall.

"Who--?"

A girl's laugh. "Derek called. He said you could use a hand?"

Groovy Tunes is open.

Buy a CD! Discuss the Live Earth concert!

"Hi Charlie! Interesting choice of music today."

"It is, isn't it?" Charlie grinned. "I might be able to turn into the Live Earth concert later, if I can figure out how to access it. How's your day going, Robin?"

"It's going pretty good." Robin nodded. "What's Live Earth?"

"24-hour music concert going on all around the world, big acts, to benefit the environment," Charlie explained. "New York, London, Sydney. You should watch if you get the chance."

"Oh, that's great!" Robin, as a frog, was greatly concerned with the environment.

"I thought so, and some really great bands are going to be playing. I'm just hoping parts of it get re-broadcast."

"What bands?" He got briefly distracted by the music playing. "Reminds me of Vincent Price."

She grinned. "It's supposed to, it's from a horror movie I was watching last night. Oh, hmm, Snow Patrol, The Police, Foo Fighters, Metallica... tons of people. 24 hours, after all, in three different cities."

"Woooow. That sounds cool! And what movie?"

Charlie giggled. "Zombie Queen of Seattle. I doubt you've seen it? It's really, really bad. But funny-bad."

"Hmm, no I don't think I have. A lot of Vincent's movies are sort of like that, but he's really good. He can even turn into a Vampire."

They're a little zonked on the catnip ball, but they're still cute.

Robin bounced in, and giggled when he heard the music.

Flopsy... flopped. Mopsy... moped. Cottontail stared at her tail like it was preeettty colors.

All of them purred.

Kitties! Robin decided to try to cheer up the mopey kitty. "Hi, what's your name?"

"Mrrrrrr."

Mopsy zoooooned.

The young Muppet took that to be a good sign, and reached out to give her ear scritches.

Mopsy crossed her eyes, looking at the webbed fingers petting her, then opened her mouth in a yawn.

Flopsy and Cottontail stared at him .... and for once, it wasn't hungrily. Just kind of whaaa?

"Do you guys want ear scritches too?"

Flopsy was still staring at him upside down. Cottontail rolled over to about within reach. Whether that was deliberate or not was anyone's guess.

Robin giggled again, and gave Cottontail ear scritches as well.

I wish I was in New York at the concert.
