Caritas Thursday 8/2
Phoebe was in a mood when she got to work. She was nice to the zombies and helped get them set up and then... she started writing something on a whiteboard she had brought in with her. When Tino saw what she had written, he laughed.
THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL!
If you have a roommate of the opposite gender, you get half off the price of your drinks!
She didn't think the boss would mind as she knew this plus the proclamations the temporary principal was making would get people to spend more money in here.
And she knew that making money was an excellent thing.

He looked like he might cry himself if the green brought on a fit of unanticipated emo.
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"Maybe you shouldn't antagonize the bartender," Stark suggested. "I have to drink what he's giving me." Which, at the moment, was something very green. "And apples are fine too. Even if it tastes horrible, I'm sure I've had worse."
After staring at the very green drink, Stark was starting to wonder if he could get a drink in the color of every one of his shipmates.

Re: The Bar [8/2]
Yes, he was going to drink his way through Moya. Because that would totally help with the emo...or at least with the being drunk.

"I have no idea what those are," Stark said. "But as long as they're all the right colors, that's fine. They have to be the right colors. Or at least close to the right colors. And there needs to be one for everyone."
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"Well, that, my friend," blustered Anders, hoping nothing proved him wrong and made Stark more emo, "is the beauty of a well-stocked bar. You can pretty much get something in any color you want, here."
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"Then we need red and gold and purple and white or grey if there is grey and orange. One for everyone, in the right colors. But not all at once. That would be bad." The fact that this was going to be bad regardless escaped him completely.
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"Tino! You heard the masked man. Get cracking, will you? Something nice and red for starters!"
Re: The Bar [8/2]
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"Neither am I," he said with a wry smile, taking a sip of his beer. "A pilot, I mean. Not making sense. I like to think I do that. Make sense."
Stark-speak might be rubbing off on him just a bit.
Re: The Bar [8/2]
Mmm, delicious red drink. He really ought to slow down, this was going to be ugly in the morning. Or later tonight.
Re: The Bar [8/2]
Not that he was discouraging Stark from drinking. You'd think he'd know better, but nooooooooooo.
Re: The Bar [8/2]
At this point Stark thought it wise to get his purple drink from Tino, even if he wasn't quite finished with the red one yet.
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"Well . . . no. I mean, I don't think I do. But I do know a lot of people who would probably at least be considered pretty weird, or not normal, or something. Which is sort of inevitable when I'm living here, isn't it?" He patted Stark on the shoulder, and signaled Tino for a couple of glasses of water. "You're doing really well."

Re: The Bar [8/2]
He mentally filed 'fahrbot' away for future use. That was a pretty cool word.
"I dunno, dude, I think the new principal is way more cracked in the head than you'll ever be."
Re: The Bar [8/2]
"I haven't met the new principal. Is she that bad? And you never saw me before. I'm much better now, or I was, until I stopped being better. I miss being better."
Now was a good time to start on that purple drink.
