Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

GOB took some chocolate, some Coke, and some soda water, mixed it all together, and dropped two Maraschino cherries in the concoction and called it The GOBtini.

This was his first attempt at making a brand new non-alcoholic drink. In order to encourage people to try the GOBtini, he had Tino put up a sign:
This week all non-alcoholic drinks
2% OFF!

He didn't want people to be too encouraged to buy non-alcoholic drinks, after all.

As a test, GOB tasted a GOBtini. It tasted nasty. "Just like any good non-alcoholic drink should," he said proudly to himself. He stared at it triumphantly for a moment before turning to Tino and demanding, "Get me some whiskey, this needs booze."

Later on, Tino added the phrase "GOBtinis free!" underneath the existing text.

Mary looked warily at the GOBtini. "I think I'll stick to club soda tonight," she said.

"Come on!" GOB requested. "I did this just for you. At least try a sip."

Mary was half-tempted to ask what went into the GOBtini, but decided that she'd rather not know. "Alright, I'll give it a try, but I still want my club soda just in case."

"Fine, but you're still going to pay for it when you send it back," GOB said, pouring a GOBtini for her while Tino got her soon-to-be much needed club soda.

"Here you go," GOB said as both drinks were placed in front of Mary.

"Bottoms up," said Mary, raising her glass before taking a sip.

She tried not to cringe and failed. "Ugh, that would make me want to go back to alcohol."

GOB frowned, then started to smile. "That's an idea. I could give these away and watch people go straight to the liquor! You're brilliant!"

John waved at Mary, ready to support her. Bodily if necessary.

Mary eyed John's beer. "I miss beer," she said sadly.

"I'd get you one, but I don't see any lampshades," he said. "How bad's the whatever?"

"It makes me want to order a beer," said Mary, wrinkling her nose.

"Bad Mary, no beer. Okay, maybe. But... I'm not going to be your enabler. I'll still walk you home, either way," he said with a smile.

Out of the corner of her eye, Mary saw Billy taking a sip of the GOBtini. She chuckled as she waited for his reaction.

Billy set the drink down, and spied Mary. "Have you tried this? It's heavenly."
