Josh still didn't know how he'd gotten talked into this.

But there he was, with a giant mug of coffee, an even larger Supersoaker to keep the young 'ins in line, and a confused look on his face.

"We leave for John and Aeryn's wedding in ten minutes!" he called. "If you're not on the bus, I will leave you here and you can either try to catch a portal this late or explain to the heavily armed bride why you didn't make it."

There was certainly not a squirrel carrying a wee overnight bag sneaking onto the bus.

They don't even make overnight bags that small.

Molly climbed onto the bus and tried to decide where to sit. She turned to Karal. "Where do you want to sit?"

Karal really wasn't sure about this. He was beginning to wish Altra had Jumped them, even though it would make him sick. "Somewhere that's not on the bus?" he suggested with a small smile.

:It's no different than a coach.: Altra rolled his eyes and pushed past both of them. :Here," he said, jumping onto a seat and pointing at the one across the aisle from him. :This will do. All the seats are the same.:

Molly smiled back at Karal. "It'll be fine. Do you want to sit by the window or the isle?" she asked, moving to the seats Altra had picked out. "You'll have a better view if you choose window."

Dawn took a seat towards the middle of the bus, right hand side, and hoped this wedding went better than the last one. Not having to wear electric kelly green taffeta already threw it into the 'win' category for her, though.

Sam slid into the seat next to Dawn and gave her a small, sheepish grin. "Have I told you that this is the first wedding I've ever been to?"

Jim took the window seat - because forget ladies first, Jim wanted the window seat - and immediately turned to ask Pam, "Are we there yet?"

He was really, really hoping that the killer headache he'd been dealing with over the last few days disappeared when they left Fandom.

Molly walked over to talk to Aly before the bus started. "Hello!" She gave Aly a big smile, pulled a folded piece of paper out of her pocket and held it out. "I have a note (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1591110.html?thread=97203526#t97203526) for you." She waited expectantly for Aly to read it.

Even the fact that he hadn't gotten anything resembling truly restful sleep for the past couple of nights could not subdue Bridge's bounciness by much as he finds a seat near the back of the bus. Because, come on! Wedding!

Having stowed away little things like luggage and wedding presents, Xander joins him. "Last time I was on a bus out of here, it was heading for London," he says, dropping into a seat.

Last time he was on a bus out of anyplace, it... wasn't here.

After everyone had gotten back onto the bus after a quick break to buy scary New Jersey turnpike souvenirs, caffeine and sugar, Josh flipped on ABBA's greatest hits and cranked it.

He handed a little cup that had "I WILL PAY MONEY TO MAKE THIS STOP" written on it to Aly and waited for the fun to begin.
