Turtle Wexler was singing. Turtle Wexler did not have the best singing voice in the world. Turtle Wexler didn't seem to really care.

"They say the best things in life are free," she chirped, happily plugging away at her inventory report, "but you can give them to tha birds an' bees, I want money!"

And then she dropped her voice down in lighter little chirps, "That's...what I want~!"

"Miss Turtle? Can you please stop singing that song?"

"I...can't, Apu! It's, like, STUCK. That's...what I want. Here. I'll give you a discount on these earplugs. Better?"

And sometime during this wonderful musical number Turtle was doing, a pair (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y174/lainey_chan/41HDKVJHZXL_SS500_.jpg) of gifts (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y174/lainey_chan/chocolate-coins.jpg) appeared on the counter.

And the singing of Ninjaaaa of the Niiiiiiight! as the mysterious gift giver fled again.

She paused, catching herself; her fit hit the counter. "Dammit!"

"...I'd fill my hard with chicks and turkeys and geese..." He blinked again, shook his head. "Uh, sorry. Um. Got any good gift ideas?"

"Lots of them," Turtle said with a small smile, "considering we kind of have everything. Looking for anyone in particular? Some sort of direction to narrow it down? We do great gift baskets."

"I'm just not sure who I should be buying for. Um. Maybe just a backup. Currently between girlfriends, and never know when that might change." He flashed her a winning smile.

Turtle quirked an eyebrow. "Between girlfriends?" she asked, almost with an air of skepticism about there even being any to be between.

"Yep. Say, you don't know anyone single, do you? Seems like everyone else is always paired up with everyone else, right?" He slumped his shoulders. In between the nuclear boots and the drip dry gloves.

"I can't say I've really paid that much attention," Turtle admitted. She never really paid much attention even when she wasn't dating Jeff.

"Well, I can tell you now," Turtle said, straightening haughtily before he got any ideas, "that if that's what you're after, you're barking up the wrong tree here. I already have a boyfriend."

Picking up on the tune, Turtle smirked, somewhat maliciously. "Not a fan?" she teased. Because she actually kind of was, so she didn't mind at all.

Not that she'd admit that she was a fan.
