Anders had completely and utterly missed out on any PMS-related craziness yesterday, so he was in a good mood and had nothing to feel particularly embarrassed about tonight when he came in to open the bar.

And he totally noticed when Tino and the zombies were overdoing it about acting nonchalant.

"What?" he asked. "Okay, why are there chunks of a ten-pound Ghirardelli dark bar back here?"

He didn't get an answer, but he didn't really care much about that ten minutes later, when he was lost in another game of Tower Bloxx on his laptop.

Evil, evil Flash games. Evil.

Anders looked up from his laptop, relieved, because that swinging crane was starting to make him dizzy. "Hey, you. How're you doing?"

Anders stared at her. "I'm pretty sure I don't have the parts for that."

Mike spent most of the day in his apartment coming up with a plan for this week's class, but now he was feeling a need to get out. "I'll take a beer, please," he said as he grabbed a seat at the bar.

"Bottled, draft, or bartender's choice?" asked Anders, reaching into the cooler for a chilled glass. "And hi. You must be new, I've never seen you before."

Mike looked warily at the bartender. "I'll go with bottled. Are you even old enough to work here?" he asked.

Anders shrugged. "It's Fandom," he said wryly. "I don't think most of us bartenders are, by standards anywhere else."

Donut had decorated his apartment (it looked so fabulous) and was looking to check out the town. So he clunked into the nearest bar. He was still fully armored since one, it had been a while since he'd been on Earth so he wasn't sure if the air was breathable. And two, he had run out of hair gel and he had the worse helmet hair going on.

"Hi there!" he said when he sat down. "Can I have something fruity?"

". . . hi," Anders said after a moment or ten of sheer unadulterated boggling, because that armor and a fruity drink shouldn't . . . well.

He got another olive to the head, but managed to get Tino to start up a blended drink with peaches, vodka and peach schnapps.

"Can you drink it through that helmet?"

Hey, he had to know. You never knew around here.

Hey, if Grif could smoke in his helmet, Donut could drink out of his.

"I just need a straw," he said. "I stick it in this hole in the side of my helmet and then just suck!"

And as far as bizarre things Anders had seen in Fandom went, this really wasn't all that high up there on the scale, so he shrugged, took it in stride, and served the drink to Donut in a fancy glass with an umbrella and frozen-peach garnish for good measure.

And a straw, of course.

He had to see this.

Bridge is looking... decidedly less than kempt, this evening, as he takes a seat at the bar to wait for Xander. The hair's even more stick-uppy (it's a word) than usual, his uniform jacket's undone, and his shirt's untucked. Almost as soon as he sits down, he starts fiddling absently with a napkin.

"You're all . . ." Anders waves his hands in the general direction of his head. "Mussed."

Says the boy who regularly has bed-head himself.

Shut up. He looks cute that way.

Xander eyes the ensemble when he comes in, looking a little less rumpled himself, after having showered and shaved and... well, anniversary, right? Even if they're spending it out.

Hey, Bridge had totally showered! It's just the rest of it that was a bit... rushed.

"Hi!" Bridge stands up, waving enthusiastically at Xander. And manages to knock over his chair in the process.

All without having had so much as a *sip* of anything alcoholic.
