"We have a protection that many of you don't," May admitted. "Rally and I are bounty hunters, not mercenaries. You can't pay us to turn on each other, because that's not how we work."

"Is there the risk of one of our outside people turning? Of course. It's actually happened before, with Bean. We didn't get him the cargo in time, he left, and his next job was picking up our rabbit and getting him out of town. However, Bean's got his own code of conduct. He doesn't sell people out while he's under contract with them, that's just how he is. Part of it is knowing the people you work with. Rally and I are both very very picky about who we let in on our jobs."

Rally stood up to contribute. "As bounty hunters, anyone looking to take us out has another obstacle - the Chicago PD. We're licensed by the city, and anyone wanting a piece of us has to deal with our backup. Now, we've clashed with the cops plenty, but when it comes down to it, anyone who double crosses us doesn't just have to deal with us. They get to deal with Chicago's finest, and we've saved their asses enough that the boys in blue are more than happy to make sure a rat drowns, if you know what I mean."
