Makoto still had a headache. He wasn't really in the mood to talk to people and so after setting things up he went straight for the video games.

It was one of those days.

Who is willing to be talked out of 'her' bad mood.

Well... maybe Deadpool wasn't the best thing for this.

"Give me a pizza with enough meat to choke a horse!"

...

Makoto glanced away from his latest game, which he was losing anyway, and frowned. "Since when do horses eat meat?"

"Since now." It made sense, really. "How about a pig? Pigs eat everything."

"Don't be ridiculous," Makoto said, frowning more, "and how would I know how much meat would choke a pig anyway?"

Deadpool paused. "You could always make an educated guess."

"I have no frame of reference," he said, fighting the urge to roll his eyes and mostly succeeding, "you can't make an educated guess without that."

"You could always try," Deadpool replied sulkily.

He facepalmed a bit because, really, was this for real? "I'd rather not," Makoto said, heading behind the counter, "is there another way you'd like to phrase your order?"

Well, if they had to do it that way.

"How many meat products do you have for pizzas?"

"More kinds of meat than I've ever seen any other pizza place have," Makoto said dryly, "what were you looking for specifically?"

"Hmmm. Bacon? Ham? Sasuage of various types? Canadian Bacon?"

"We can do all of that," he assured the customer, "and more."

"Then do it we shall!" Deadpool replied, grinning cheerfully.

...

"All of it?" He was just checking.

"Did I stutter?" Deadpool asked. "MEAT ME!"

"No sir," Makoto said, punching the order in, "your pizza will be meated, not you." Because that was a little disturbing to think about.

Beat.

"Anything else for you today?"

It was kinda dirty.

"I should probably get a vegetarian pizza in case he's in a non-meat mood, huh?"

"Most people, don't tend to want quite this much meat on their pizza. It might be wise."

"Then two pizzas, good sir!" He was just happy there weren't any sparkles, really. Darn anime characters.

He got a narrow-eyed glance from Makoto. "Do I," he said sharply, while punching the other pizza in, "look like a guy? I don't think so."

Deadpool gave him a look. "Well 'good ma'm' sounds funny, doesn't it?"

"How about you just stick with 'miss'," Makoto suggested.

"Also no fun," Deadpool said, looking around the shop. "Senorita? Onee-chan?"

"Those work," he said dryly, "though names tend to work pretty well too." Pause. "It's Makoto by the way."

Not that he really thought guy-who-loved-red-spandex-too-much would care.

"Deadpool. Nice to meetcha, Makato!" Deadpool grinned cheerfully, offering a hand.

Makoto winced, but went to shake Deadpool's hand. "It's Ma-ko-to," he said mostly patiently, "not Makato. Different sound. And nice to meet you as well."

Deadpool cursed the typos. "Okie-dokie then. Makoto. You're a student. right?"

"Yes," he said, "I started just in January. It's been... interesting."

"Good! You crazy kids here and your learning," Deadpool added awkwardly. Small talk was hard sometimes. "So..."

"Are you a teacher?" Makoto asked, "Or a business owner, perhaps?"

Oh, thank god.

"Teacher! Oddly enough. Whoever thought it was a good idea to let me teach is clearly insane."

"Yes." Makoto agreed with a straight-face. "Clearly. What do you teach?" What were they crazy enough to let him teach?

"Law enforcement this time around," Deadpool replied with a small bounce.

Makoto looked mildly dubious. "Law enforcement?" In red spandex. "What did you do before teaching? A cop?"

Who is probably in a better mood than Makoto.

Tom was doing his usual cleaning and restocking, humming to himself as he worked. He actually quite missed the singing from Tuesday, as it had been very entertaining.

For whatever reason.

There are no words for how much today sucks. Seriously.

March just seems to be a suckass month all around. :( *hugs*

I hope it does suck less by the end of the month, because good grief. It's only 6 days in.

Nope. :( The only time Tom was ever shirtless onscreen to my knowledge, he was in a leopard-print thong, which might be more than a little disturbing. XD
