Caritas [Thursday evening]

Robin had a very important mission tonight.

Tonight, she was tossing maraschino cherries into shot glasses from progressively farther distances.

Her record for actually getting one in was three feet away. She felt very proud. And she'd keep going until she hit four, at least.

[I'm around and about as bored as Robin, but GODDAMN LJ AND THEIR NOTIFICATION-EATING. I'll refresh as I can!]

A certain director slash handyman *cough* plopped onto one of the barstools, looking rather more miserable even than usual. The bottle of Robitussin he put on the counter a minute later might have explained it.

Robin smiled, stopping with the cherries for the time being. And though she was still caught a little off-guard, this week, she was far more prepared to recognize the characteristics she needed to tell who this was. "Hi Geoffrey."

She slid a beer over to him. "Are you sick?" she added, eyeing the bottle on the bar.

Troy, beer in hand and The Tempest at the ready, approached Geoffrey. "Um, hi," he said, more nervous than he'd like -- although the rum and coke he'd already downed was helping with that.

Dawn hadn't had a drink in Mexico, but now she was dying to know what tequila tasted like. Luckily, she'd already had her last class of the week and was now in the mood to do something she shouldn't.

So. She perched on the stool and greeted Robin, "How you have known whether do the body shock?"

Hmmm.

Amber chose tonight to become more social. To step out of that little shell she claimed as her dorm room. And yes, she chose a bar to do this in.

Thursdays meant a stop at the bar before going home so there was Fraser, pushing open the door and meandering over to the bar.

He dropped his hat on the counter and said, "Good evening."

"Hi!" Robin said cheerfully, plucking up his hat and setting it on her head. "You don't get to drink water tonight."

She didn't look over towards anyone else in the bar, because it would be so much funnier if those two noticed each other on their own.

Tomorrow was Friday. Which meant that tomorrow as that class.

And considering what happened in Mexico, Ron decided that if he was going to go to class he best either be severely hung over or extremely drunk.

"I'll have a firewhiskey please," Ron said sitting down at the bar.

Robin raised a brow, and had to go find Tino for that one.

But a few seconds later, a firewhiskey was deposited in front of Ron. "That sounds...strong."

Troy came into the bar, a copy of The Tempest in his jacket pocket. Not that he was hoping to run into anyone in particular this evening.

Still, first he went up to the bar -- he felt that perhaps he'd need to be a little bit less nervous when speaking to Geoffrey. "Hey," he said, smiling to the bartender. "Can I get a rum and coke?"

"Mmm, the favored drink of sorority girls gone wild everywhere," Robin said, happily pouring the drink and sliding it over. "Here you go."

Coming to Caritas served two purposes in John's mind. First, it got them away from temptation, and second it provided ample opportunity for singing.

"Check out that band. Tonight feels like a good karaoke night, doesn't it?"
