Caritas, Saturday evening

D'Argo had been holed up at town hall today, so poor Tino was once again at the bar. He'd sort of stopped cursing D'Argo's name for that and was instead looking forward to the tips.

[Only around for another hour or so, so it'll be a mod Tino night. However, BEAR ME.]

A bear made its way up to the stage to sing its little heart out.

It growled "Feelings." It was amazing.

The bear.. she was bored.

There had been chaos and destruction and the was fun, but now she had decided to sneak off from the rest of the bears and have a few drinks.

Savannah had rested in bed all day and needed to get out for a little bit. It had taken some doing, but Johnny had finally been convinced to take her down to Caritas.

Sitting at the bar, she ordered a rum and coke and he had a beer.

"Sweetheart? Are you seeing bears or is it just me?"

Savannah was holding his hand. "Uh huh."

Getting his usual from Tino, Barney eyed the bears at the bar. They were no more disturbing than the tentacle dude who tried to punch him that time. He just hoped none of them disturbed his special bar time.

A bear growled for a drink from Tino before settling in next to Barney.

Barney turned and stared. What was up with the strange flocking to him?

"How do you plan on drinking that, anyway?" he asked, looking at the bear's drink. "And please, order something less obvious than mead next time."

Mary hadn't been out for a while, probably because she always had George Michael to go home to every night. Today, she only managed to stay in her empty suite for five minutes before feeling the need to get out.

"Tino, I need a vodka tonic," she said, taking a seat at the bar. "No, scratch that. Just give me a club soda with a splash of lime."

Mohinder slipped onto a seat by the bar and ordered a bottled beer.

A few moments - and a raised eyebrow - later saw Tino hand over a bottle opener too. Mohinder tilted the ice cool bottle back as he took a slow drink.

Joanna strode into the bar and surveyed the scene. She noticed Mary, thought that maybe she could use someone to talk to, and decided to take the open seat furthest away from her.

Mary definitely noticed Joanna, but was not in the mood to talk to her. So Mary focused on shredding her cocktail napkin while pretending that she hadn't seen Joanna walk in.

Tom was shaken (and, though he wouldn't admit it, his pride was more than a little wounded when he told Lynette and her friends the story and they laughed for about 5 minutes straight). He needed an alcoholic drink after the bear invasion in his pizza parlor. So he got to the bar and ordered a Long Island Iced Tea from Tino.

"A little rough. More than a little strange. Bears," said Tom disbelievingly. "Bears with lasers. I... I can't get over that. It was so bizarre. One of them came into my restaurant and... wanted pizza!"

Sadly, he didn't have any other place to be. However, wisely did he just order a water with a slice of lemon in it.

Mary blinked when she saw George Michael walk in. "This town really needs some more bars," she mumbled to herself.

George Michael looked over, heard her, and bowed his head.

Man. She really hated him.

Woe.

Nathan had plans to meet with Charlotte. He got to Caritas early, snagged a scotch for himself, and settled in to wait.

He spent his time wondering if he was going to react to the bears, or pretend he didn't see them.

It would appear that, no matter how hard she tried, Charlotte was finding it impossible to pretend to ignore the bears. And she tried very hard; they were just that difficult to ignore, especially when so many of them were just so darned cute. She got to the bar; a set time hadn't been set, but she hoped it wasn't either too earlier or too late, but if it was late, it should well be fashionably so with how much trouble she went through trying to pick out an outfit and then just going with the little black dress she'd tried on first. She got herself a Cosmo before spotting Nathan and headed over.

She meant to just give him a hi in greeting, but what came out was, "Please tell me that you saw all the bears, too."

Well, at least they made for a quick and easy conversational topic, right?

There was a bear in the lounge. A few empty bottles were with him and he looked like he was sleeping.
