See, had Lacey been back home in Canada and faced with a sudden influx of kids in town, she would have ordered in a bunch of Kinder Surprise, but apparently there was a whole issue with tiny toys in candy in the United States.

Not that this sort of thing, the child invasion, happened in Dog River, or in Toronto for that matter. Probably a good thing, although she couldn't help wishing Davis got subjected to a sudden horde of small children.

What? It would be funny.

She did, however, have a stack of construction paper and boxes of crayons at the counter today; she hadn't had enough advance notice to order coloring placemats.

Lacey just really hoped nobody came in with balloons. She was terrified of balloons.

The mini-burgers are so much more awesome than White Castle sliders.

At least in Lacey's opinion.

Lacey's put up some honestly kind of not as funny as she thinks they are kids' comics today.

I am, for more than one reason, desperately pretending it's not actually Monday.

Also, if anyone else wants a family dinner OCD thread, let me know and I'll be more than happy to add one, or feel free to add your own!

For the Halliwell-Levine-Storm-Anders-Turner family dinner, by special request.

Chris and Summer showed up to meet their family for dinner with Matt and Maddie in tow.

Maddie spotted the construction paper and crayons and immediately availed herself of some and settled in to draw pictures for her mommy and daddy and Uncle Wyatt and Aunt Izzy and everyone else.

Summer smiled as she watched Madison draw. "The kids are pretty amazing, huh?"

Anders, Artemis, and Pandora showed up for dinner. Anders wasn't sure this was the best idea, but the girls did deserve the chance to hang out with their cousins some more . . .

Eve showed up with two kids and a boyfriend in tow. This was going to be the most insane gathering ever, but that? Was what made it awesome.

Adam's thoughts were along the same lines but hey, he was excited too. Note the grin.

Savannah arrived, carrying Storm and Wynter. Johnny was following with Kristofer.

This was going to be interesting... but at least Storm and Wynter weren't trying to kill each other any longer.

"I apologize in advance for subjecting you to the massive extended family that I'm apparently a part of by proxy," she said to him, grinning.

Adam laughed and shook his head. "No need to apologize," he grinned. "You'll get no complaints from me."

"Let's see you say that after all the kids are here," Eve teased.

"Hmm, good point," Adam winked, chuckling.

"I think we did a pretty a good job with them," Chris said.

Gwynn was tugged into the diner by two blonde terrors.

"Daddy!" One screeched while the other one screeched "Peoples!"

Pagan and Javelin were in rare form, it seemed. Gwynn? Even she looked like she might consider alcohol in her future.

"Of course it is," Eve said. "My points are always good."

"I'd offer to trade you mine for yours, but yours scare me," Sean said to Gwynn as he and Gracie came in right behind her.

Chris laughed and scooped up Pagan. "Hey, sweetie. Are you being good for your mom?"

"Hey, little sis," Anders said, waving at Eve with a spoon. "Have you met my kids yet?"

"Ooh, no, I haven't," Eve said. "Clearly we have to change that."

Anders's daughters weren't going to wait for him to make introductions, apparently; two giggling, baseball-cap-wearing girls appeared right next to Eve.

Of course, given that Pandora was only a little smaller than Artemis -- she looked like she was going to take after her father in height -- and Artemis had decided that giving her half-sister a piggyback shimmer ride had been a good idea, they were in severe danger of teetering over and crashing into Eve.

"No argument here," Adam grinned. Really, there wasn't any.

We can't have Kinder Surprise 'cause we are dumb. :-(
