Caritas, Wednesday Night

Faith was still riding the high of being Aunt Faith. And very, very glad that whatever-it-was that dropped off fake kids for everybody, didn't give her one. She made a much better 'aunt' than 'mom.' Trust her on this one.

"You serious?" Faith had to laugh at that. "Okay, I can't picture what passes for weird, at this place. I mean, the garden-variety weird's pretty fucked up. This oughta be good. Wonder if I should bring some weapons."

All parties were better with weapons, really.

"I haven't heard details. Someone who's been around longer might know. I figure that everyone's survived them before, so the odds are in my favor and I don't need to know more than that. I'm looking forward to the surprise. Of course, it could end up like that old TV show where the main guy expects a prank on him, but the prank was that there was no prank after all. I'd be a little disappointed if that's what happened here."
